Executive Summary
We spent four days on-location in Le Mars, Iowa during the annual Ice Cream Days event hosted by the Le Mars Chamber of Commerce and Wells Enterprises.
Throughout the event, our team of photographers, filmmakers, and drone pilots captured authentic media showing how “the best days have ice cream”. Our final deliverables included four short-form daily recap videos, one full-length event recap video, and 1,700+ event photographs.

Capturing The Sweetness
Ice Cream Days approached us to capture on-location video, photography, and aerial media for their four-day event. The main objective was to create media showcasing the many events throughout the festival.
This included capturing branded images at the Wells Ice Cream Parlor & Visitor Center, and video media of the various events (classic car show, concerts, parade, and carnival). We ended up creating almost 2,000 images for use in future marketing.
Ice Cream Days is a fast-paced event spanning multiple days so coordinating media capture times and scheduling is a challenge. To ensure we captured everything in the best light, we met with Ice Cream Days leadership in the months leading up to the event.
