Project Case Study

What We Did for WJI:
"Our social media engagement has skyrocketed. We can share summary videos at information sessions, journalism conferences, and on the website!"

—Naomi Balk
WJI Assistant Director & Co-Founder of WJI Network
About the Project
WJI approached us about creating videos to tell their story and help drive applications for their annual journalism training program.
For this project, we filmed interviews with students to capture their opinions on WJI for use in marketing. We also spent time capturing additional b-roll footage to use alongside student interviews.
- 3 WJI Overview Videos.
- 5 WJI Student Testimonial Videos.
- 10 WJI Reels for Social Media.
"One success story is specifically the social media reels. These have increased our social media engagement. It allows WJI students to share a few words about their personal experience and makes it accessible to potential applicants."

Telling WJI's Story
What is a Brand Story Film?
A brand story film is a video which shows leads the in and outs of your company. These videos emphasize story and emotion to connect with the viewer in a meaningful way.
World Journalism Institute’s brand story film includes interviews from 12 students to capture their thoughts and experience with the program.
For the final video, we cut together the best soundbites from interviews and used b-roll captured throughout the week to create an engaging story.
"I would recommend this service because of the attention to detail, receptiveness of content development, and the follow-up throughout the process. Filming, content development, editing, and revisions, the service has been excellent."

WJI Testimonial Videos
To increase engagement, we produced a set of student testimonials to help future candiates of the program to learn more about the benefits of attending WJI.
